Western Australia Picture Postcards 1902-1912 written up collection on leaves comprising productions from unknown printers & from established firms including Wigg, Harden, Morgan, Robinsons (Bristol), Austral Stores (many), Tuck (England), Norman Bros (Albany), Ratcliffe, Mayrhofer & Co, Falk & others. Typical of the period, some are sepia, others black & white or colour-toned, with a few "real photograph" types in black & white. Themes include Town views, street scenes, Swan River, panoramas, forestry & mining, aborigines, railway stations, reservoirs, bridges, rural scenes, public buildings, camel team, gardens, transport & other aspects of the life of the period. Apart from a few items with obvious creases, cond is good to fine throughout & viewing will reward. Conservative reserve, given that many items similar to these retail at over $20 each.
