1931 (12th March) Imperial Airways First Flight Khartoum to London. Listed in specialist Cat Mueller No. 18 with only 450 letters/cards carried. This envelope was originally prepared for the Cape to Cairo First Flight, some envelopes were left over and about 100 were overprinted "First Flight Khartoum to London", this being one. Franked with the Feb 1931 new airmail issue set of 3, 5 mil, 10 mil & 2 pi. SG 47, 48 & 49 Stamps alone Cat. £45 on cover, as FDC Cat is £125
