1931 (Nov) Aust to England Airmail cover from Burnie, Tasmania with "Air Mail from Launceston Reference No." cachet in mauve completed in hand. Whilst the cover is worn & the edges repaired by tape the enclosure makes the piece as contains letter from The Advocate Newspapers Advertising manager to Beecham's Pills with a colour map/brochure showing the newspapers advertising rates, coverage & demographics. Fascinating historical document cleverly marketed with the typed covering letter being responded to by an employee with current rates being paid.
