1909 Postcard of Fremantle docks franked onboard the German Mail Steamer Friedrich der Grosse, which, as verified from the records, stopped at Fremantle on 31.1.1909. Card bought onboard, franked with German stamp & cancelled with scarce "Deutsche Seepost - Australische Hauptline 31.1.09" cds. Addressed to Sydney with message. Minor foxing but rarely seen.
