1847 (4th Dec) letter with two pairs of 1/- pale green embossed cancelled with barred "466" with large to touching margins. Addressed to Baring Sports Co, New York, it is backstamped Liverpool DE 4 1847 with London transit mark. Part contents of original letter but unfortunately addresses name has been inked over. Remains rare multiple use & most attractive. SG 54 Cat. £1100++
