Polar Argentina to Sweden cover addressed to explorer Otto Nordenskjold, a postcard to Christiania (Oslo) bearing pairs of 1o & 2o tied by pictorial "POLHAVET" cachets showing the latitude reached (76°52' & 77°33'), explorers' signatures & the picture side (handcoloured) showing a walrus in an ice floe & a 1907 Victoria card addressed to Bairnsdale with 1d QV tied by "OPTRAIN FE1 07 VICTORIA" cds. This is a Tuck's postcard with the hand painted colour scene "Springtime at Lady Franklin Bay". A lovely selection. (3)
