1934 Air Mail cover with enclosure to England. Roughly opened at top & bearing 6d brown air x 3 & 2d Macarthur all tied by Point Cook Vic cds of 7 DE 34. Enclosure is on Commonwealth of Australia headed note paper of RAF No. 1 Flying Training School, Point Cook with a long letter to family members, starting with remarks about the airmail service & hoping the letter will arrive in London on Christmas Eve, from the wife of a pilot instructor. Interesting insight into life of the period, complaints about the weather etc!
