Germany-Poland Occupation 1939 Official Poster headed by the Swastika, erected by the German Occupying Forces on all public buildings & notice boards. Translated from Polish into English: "Ultimatum from the German Polish Occupying Army to the Polish Population. All women & children are guaranteed free movement, if they are able & willing to work. Those citizens that are not able or suited to work will be located in special camps inside General government. All sick or ill women & children will receive official medical care. The German Army fights against the Bolsheviks (Communists) not against the Polish people. Anybody that collaborates with the Communists will be punished. This Ultimatum is now in force". Slightly worn as to be expected.
