Great Britain 1995-1998 RAF Association "The Great War 1914-18" cover & postcard collection. Each commemorates a different campaign. All covers signed by soldiers involved in WW1 with their accompanying backgrounds. Incls William Henry Lunn who served in Gallipoli, third Earl Henry Kitchener, Major the Earl Haig & Field Marshal Montgomery's son David, the second Viscount. Covers are all aircraft flown with insert info cards & dated to correspond with 80th anniversaries & bear Machin defins tied by pictorial pmks. The postcards are the aircraft artwork from the covers. A most attractive & interesting collection with many of the signatories no longer with us. (126)
