1922 British "Oversea Settlement Committee" booklet with frayed side & rusty staple, handstamped "Not Available for a Sailing After 3rd December 1922" with Postcard detached by the licensed passage broker (as per instructions) & bearing a photograph on the "PASS" with 11.5.22 issue of London office & stamped at Fremantle WA 4 Aug 1922. Back page bears rubber stamp of Harbour Police Colombo 25 Jul 1922 stating "allowed ashore during steamer's stay in port". Interesting piece of memorabilia.
