1940 (14th Oct) Censored & taxed airmail cover to London bearing 9d Platypus with Melbourne cds & boxed "PASSED BY CENSOR 115" cachet which ties adhesive & censor tape plus machine slogan "TELEPHONE AND SAVE PETROL". Then GB Postage Due 3d x 2 & 1/- blue affixed with "CHARGE NOT COLLECTED" overstamped & (on reverse) "RETURN TO SENDER GONE AWAY" in violet. An item with a lot of character.
