France-German Occupation 1940 (29th July) cover with two 25¢ green Mercury joined pairs tied by three "GHYVELDE NORD" cds's with one of the pairs showing boxed "Besetztes Gebiet Nord Frankreich" 3 line ovpt ("Occupied Area Northern France") type 1 with rounded corners to frame (see Michel). Reverse shows complete arrival "DUNKERQUE 12 30.7.40 NORD". Accompanied by Pickenpack Cert. (1985). Michel Cat. €800 plus on cover premium.
