1900 Outgoing soldier's letter to Cpl WW Monger c/-Commanding Officer West Australian Bushman's Camp South Africa bearing 2d grey swan tied by Geraldton duplex of "AP 28 00" & struck with two line "Received from the Mails Looted by the Boers on June 8" & (in pencil) "rec'd Sept 18 WWM 1900" (signature of addressee). Several stains & folds but accompanied by auction lot description of similar "double rate" cover using WA 2½d x2 to S.Africa with similar cachet but better cond which sold for $3600 in Prestige auction 159.
