1902 (30th Aug) 3d red-brown (PSAC unlisted sub-type of RE1 – knife-cut P2) used to Germany uprated with 2½d tied by "R" within oval, double-oval "REGISTRATION BRANCH 30AUG02 KALGOORLIE W.A." in violet with framed Perth transit handstamp in violet. Magdeburg arrival backstamp. Believed to be the earliest known use of WA Cut P2 Registered Envelope. Good cond.
