1844 Sydney to Carrickfergus, Ireland, pre-stamp outer. Heavily worn but with wax seal remaining & initialled "PAID SHIP LETTER SYDNEY" with crown in red brown (Nov 1844). Clear "CARRICKFERGUS MR 29 1845" on reverse. Small cutting from newspaper of the time accompanies.
