1926 (30th June) London to Melbourne Cobham flight. Nine original pages of cables from Alan Cobham to Officer Commanding Baghdad requesting a replacement for Arthur Elliot who had been killed in Iraq during the flight. All hand written on "R.A.F. Form 96 Message Forms". Dated 9th July 1926. Unique & a wonderful addition to an early Australian Airmail collection. Related to AAMC 95 (Plate 2)
