1945 (21st May) Canberra to Sydney "Southern Cross" test flight cover with 3½d Duke of Gloucester tied by Sydney machine cancel. Addressed to EA Crome. The AAMC states "signed H Purvis & John Kingsford Smith (nephew of Charles Kingsford Smith)" however this cover is unusually signed by the whole crew. Only 12 flown & under catalogued.
