1931 (19th Nov) A.N.A. Ltd First All Australian Mail to England in the "Southern Sun". It crashed at Alor Star (Kedah) when taking off from waterlogged airstrip. Kingsford Smith flew out in the "Southern Star" & collected the mail & flew on to London. 2d & 6d KS & 6d KS Airmail tied by Darwin cds's. Signed by G.U. Allan. AAMC 222c
