1911 (30th Dec) First Aerial Post souvenir card carried on second return flight from Muizenberg to Kenilworth bearing Muizenberg 3 JA 12 cds (day of flight) & addressed back to Mowbray with matching 4 JA cds. COGH 1d KEVII tied by Mowbray DE 30 11 cds with "First South African Aerial Post Muizenberg Dec 30 11" cachet plus similar for "Kenilworth". (Note: both of these cachets show the incorrect prior flight dates still in use. The placement of the Muizenberg cachet to the right & Kenilworth to the left appears to have been the convention applied to this flight). VG cond with ver few of these 179 carried cards surviving.
