"Perth looking North-East, WA" Falk coloured with Perth 1 AU 07 machine cancel & a 13 Bar obliterator tying 1d swan to Cardiff addressed card. Unusual obliterator use as Pope & Reynolds report that a 3 Bar Dumb obliterator was used at Aberdeen St 1898 to 1900. PMI substantiates this. Only Goulder (PMC) reports that "Dumb Ob...13... found on Perth Mail" but does not rate the cancel using only "-" for which no explanation is given. Scarce Postal use. Light staining & minor corner damage.
