Noted 1841 stampless Exeter-Weymouth with handstamped "Penny Post", 1843 Battle (Sussex)-Beverley, London-Manchester with h/s "Portugal St 1p Paid" in black over "U Paid" in red, 1846 Blackburn-Knutsford, Fakenham-Beverley, 1856 Northampton-London all with "Paid" h/s's or m/s.
