1856c. two cover fronts with the "E.L." logo autograph of Sir Edwin Landseer. He was an English painter well known for his paintings of animals particularly horses, dogs & stags. However his best known works are the lion sculptures in Trafalgar Square. Also a small unused envelope bearing elaborate ink sketch of a lady (1d red at lower right) addressed to Newcastle. Something out of the ordinary! (3 items)
