British East Africa 1895 ovpts on India comprising 1a plum block of 6, one showing raised "T" in "East", 2a pair MUH with one showing "T" of "East" inserted by hand (sloping) & last "a" of "Africa" raised. Also 8a & 12a singles, 1R with inverted "V" for "A" in "Africa", 1895 "2½" surcharge in red (SG 64 Cat. £120) & 2R, 3R & 5R all fine mint (SG 61/63 Cat. £410). A useful, attractive lot.
