Crash Covers comprising Colombia 1934 "Von Krohn", 1939 GB to South Africa with letter still inside & boxed "Damaged by Seawater" bilingual strike plus similar clearer strike with "Flying Boat Correspondence…" on 1939 NZ to South Africa cover annotated with "Damaged when Flying Boat "Challenger" crashed at Mozambique 1.5.39" (same crash as previous item). Also 1941 Australian OHMS cover with notice "The attached letter has been damaged by water under circumstances..." (Coolangatta crash cover, AAMC 984, Cat. $275) plus newspaper reports. (4 covers)
