1929 (18th Mar) Richmond, NSW to London cover from the "Coffee Royal" affair flight. Carried on the "Southern Cross" with 1½d red KGV tied by bold Richmond cds. Signed by both Kingsford Smith & Ulm. Both Keith Anderson & Bob Hitchcock lost their lives in the search for the aircraft after its forced landing. Only 12 flown. A superb example of this scarce cover. AAMC 131 Cat. $2,750 (see plate 2)
