1931 (23rd Apr) First "All The Way" Experimental Flight covers from Australia to England. Two Reg'd examples with 6d kangaroo, 1d & 1/4d KGV & 3d Airmail franking tied by Hobart cds's & the other with Mt Barker, WA R6 Reg'd label & cds's tying 1/- kangaroo, 5d KGV & 3d & 6d Kingsford Smith. Both with flight cachet in mauve plus an accompanying letter on Imperial Airways letterheaded paper explaining the significance of the flight. A lovely trio. AAMC 188
