1934 (7th Dec) England to Australia cover front glued to backing card bearing GB 2/6d seahorse in addition to standard 1/3d franking all tied by London Air Mail cds's. Addressed to Fergus McMaster esq, Qantas Empire Airways Ltd, PO Box Y66K, Brisbane. Fergus was co-founder of Qantas. This piece was from a parcel sent to him by Imperial Airways. Qantas still has the same PO Box number in Brisbane. Light foxing on 2/6d & right edge. An interesting addition to a Qantas exhibit. Ex Frommer.
