1841 (6th Aug) 1d grey black used on cover addressed to "Norfolk Street, Strand, London". The later date explaining the state of the plate. Neat black Maltese Cross pmk with close to touching margins. Lettered "MB". Complete Stroud AU 6 1841 cds beneath stamp. Usual filing folds but not affecting stamp or cancel. Receival in red on reverse for same date. Most attractive. SG 3 Cat. £750
