India 1941 (Sept) Cover from India to Sydney bearing 5R7as in franking & with 2 wax seals imprinted MICINSP (Mica Inspection) can be read. "Passed by The Government Mica Inspection (Bihar) for export to..." completed in m/s with "New South Wales, Australia". Signed beneath by "Mica Inspector Bihar". Evidently the envelope contained samples of mica in addition to correspondence. Mica was probably a controlled export item at this time. Unusual wartime mail.
