1929 (28th Sept) Perth to Adelaide with 3d airmail & 1½d swan (FDI for the latter). Misplaced machine cancel of Perth results in "Airmail Saves Time" positioned at left tying By Air Mail vignette. Perth date at right & 1½d swan uncancelled necessitating application of separate Ship Room 1pm cds (machine cancel was 11.30am). FDC & flight with extra character! VG cond.
