1938 (11th July) Ayr, Scotland to Melbourne with boxed "MISSENT TO WELLINGTON, N.Z." cachet below 3d & 1/- KGV/VI. Carried by Imperial Airways "Corio" on flight IE670 which was involved in a crash at Sharjah on 16th July with fellow aircraft "Cooee". "Circe" subsequently took over the journey the following day. Roughly opened at top but complete cachet. By Air mail vignette at left. Ex Perry
