Canada 1932 (19th May) Newfoundland to Germany cover carried by Fritz Hammer in "Dornier" DOX flying boat on "Harbour Grace Airport Trust Co" printed env with $1.50 on $1 commem tied by St Johns slogan cancel & Harbour Grace transit b/s. Flap removed & minor corner marks from mounting. Addressed to the Hungarian aviator George Endras who flew from Newfoundland to Hungary in 1931. Endras was subsequently killed in a crash in Italy while this cover was in transit. Ex Frommer.
