Great Britain South Africa 1911 (29th Dec) Kenilworth to Muizenberg, Transvaal "First South African Aerial Post" illust postcard with Transvaal 1d KGV tied by Sea Point cds with neighbouring Kenilworth & Muizenberg cachets. Addressed to Albury NSW & re-addressed to Queenscliffe, Vic on arrival. Intended for the 30th December flight but delayed until January 3 1912. The earliest airborne item from South Africa to Australia & only recorded example of this postcard to Australia. Good cond. Ex Perry (plate 5)
