Poland 1938 (4th Sept) Proposed First Polish Stratosphere Flight card with 75gr M/S on reverse tied by commem Zakopane pictorial cachet, the front showing balloon sketch plus boxed & straight-line cachets. The flight was scheduled for 15.9.38 but never took place as the balloon burst into flames whilst being prepared for the start. A 75gr MLH single from the M/S is also included in this lot.
