1943 (3rd Mar) Rottnest Island to Melbourne registered cover with mixed franking tied by Registered Perth cds in transit with neighbouring blue provisional registration label handstamped "ROTTNEST ISLAND" & "Australian Military Forces Passed by Censor 623" boxed cachet in mauve below. A P.O. did not operate fully on the island during WWII hence no Rottnest cds. Good cond.
