1879 2d mauve ERROR OF COLOUR. This is an exceptional example of this stamp printed in the colour of the 6d. Fine used with a light Perth grid cancel clear of the value wording. Previously sold at a Rod Perry Auction in 1979 & most recently at a Robin Linke sale in 2006 for $17,600 incl BP. Incls a Ceremuga Cert. (2006) that cost the vendor $800!
