1931 (16th Dec) First All Australian Airmail from Adelaide to London & return to Rivervale, WA. 1d KGV, 3d Airmail, 6d KS, 6d KS Airmail x 2 & a third ovptd "OS". All tied by Adelaide cds's with London 16 DE 31 receival cds on front. Tax markings in crayon & cachet show it was still underpaid even though endorsed "Return postage by Air prepaid". The cover is beautifully hand illustrated with a kangaroo holding a box in which the mauve cachet has been stamped. A couple of tape stains & imperfections do not take away from a most attractive & unique cover. AAMC 222var.
