Postcards Unused black &white group featuring reproductions of works by PM Lampel (Wikipedia article included), showing subjects such as "Javanese Gardener", "Balinese Boy", Young Javanese type", "Javanese kitchen", "Javanese cook", "Old Javanese woman" etc. Minor spotting on some cards. None are dated & all bear the description "From the exhibition Types of India" by PM Lampel on reverse. Lampel was a German playwright, narrator & painter who lived from 1894 to 1965. His works were banned when the Nazis came to power in 1938. (12)
