1932-1953 Financial Emergency Tax stamps on 4 pages from an old ledger used between October 1933 & August 1935. Financial Emergency Tax revenues were withdrawn from use on August 1, 1940. The 4 pages contain 150+ of varying face vals incl 1d blue (9), 2d brown (6), 1½d violet (1), 3d yellow (1), 4d rose (4), 4½d deep claret (17), 6d grey (33), 9d carmine red (31), 1/- green (6) & 2/- ochre (42). Clean & fine cond. We noted that the illustration on page 98 of Dzelme "The Fiscal Stamps of Western Australia" appears to have come from the same ledger as these pages. Total Dzelme Cat. $2500+
