1940c "The Metropolitan Hospitals Benefit Fund of Western Australia" receipt stamps in completed contribution book with 52 x 6d green stamps all in fine cond & neatly arranged. Dated from Jan 1949 to Jan 1950 noting a couple of stamps where the year appears wrong e.g.: Nov 1950, Dec 1950, June 1948 etc. The pages have come away from the staples but otherwise it is clean & fine. The revenues show an interesting range of shades & useful for variety research. The completed booklet adds a sizeable premium & it is the first of these booklets we have seen. An excellent exhibition item. Cat at $50 each by Elsmore ($2600)
