Vatican is the dominant with 1931 Parcel Post set MLH (Cat. £55), 1933 1l25 St Peter's MLH & used, 1935 Juridical Congress set used plus extras of all but 80¢ & 1949 Basilicas incl 35l used plus 1953 500l Air used before later MLH & used with 1980 Pope John Paul Airs on maxicards x 7 & 3 silk covers. Odd early Italy noting 1¢ & 2¢ newspaper imperfs MLH & Papal States incl 1b black on bluish-green MLH (SG 10, Cat. £150) & 2b black on white used (SG 14, Cat. £120).
