New Zealand 1935 (9th June) "By Imperial Airways" incoming cover with Iraq 15f King Ghazi tied by Khanagin cds & taxed on arrival with bicolour 1d PD strip of 3 plus ½d single. Rubber double circle h/s at lower right reading "Collect.....d. Affix Stamps Before Delivery" in red (3½ added in m/s by pencil). NZ PD's tied by hexagonal "Timaru Receipts Branch" in red. Roughly opened & repaired but stamps & cancels not affected. Most unusual.
