1888 (13th Sept) OHMS postcard with boxed "Fremantle Rifle Volunteers" imprint at lower left & signed in m/s with fine "Fremantle AU 16 88 W.A. - F" (Dx-1) impression. Reverse with printed "Fremantle Rifle Volunteers - A COMMANDING OFFICER'S PARADE" with date, day & time complete in m/s. "S'C. Skipton" h/s over the name of "Geo Bland Humble Captain Commanding F.R.V.". Minor soiling on the corners but only 4 such cards recorded by Haynes & Pope. A similar sold in The Cecil Walkley Collection Auction for $675 (lot 282).
