KGV Used selection to 1/4d with shades & varieties mounted on leaves in peg-fitting album. Noted some perf "OS", flaws identified incl 1d red "ferns", "thin G", "pre-substituted cliché" (2), "substituted cliché" (3), "saddle on emu" & "inverted wmk" (6) plus "Die II" (10) with "Die III" (MLH & used) before rough papers & higher vals. Incls 4d blue (+ perf "OS"), 1/4d single wmk ditto plus some MLH noting Sm Mult Perf.14 1d, 1½d, 2d, 4d & 4½d & no wmk 1d & 1½d. Whilst a good range of annotated flaws on 1½d red vals, the main value is in 1d red shades & varieties. (1100+)
