Nauru 1916/23 "NAURU" ovpts on Great Britain KGV & Seahorses to 10/-. The first set to 1/- with extras incl 2d ovpt double & another "albino" (SG 4b, Cat. £110) plus 1d & 2d with "Bite out of 2nd U" at left, & "short "N" varieties (SG 1 & 6/10, Cat. £290) before 1923 central ovpts with extra 1½d. Seahorses consist DLR 2/6d yellow-brown (SG 20) & 3 shades of brown (SG 21) plus 3 shades in the Bradbury Wilkinson printings before 5/- carmine to bright carmine & 10/- shades x 4 ranging from Pale Blue (SG23) to deep bright blue (SG 23d). MLH with some having usual tropicalised gum reflected in reserve. Total SG Cat. £2800+ (29)
