France 1849-1959 used also in 2 vols noting 1849/52 10¢ shades (Cat. £900), 20¢ black (2), 25¢ in 4 shades, 1852/53 25¢, 1853/61 1¢, 5¢, 10¢ (7 shades), 20¢ in 8 shades, 40¢ (3), 80¢ pale rose & 1862 to 80¢ with 2 shades of each val. Then 1863/70 laureates incl shades (Cat. £490), 1870/71 again incl shades of 20¢ & 40¢, 1870/71 Bordeaux 5¢, 10¢ (2 shades), 20¢ type II & type III, 30¢ brown, 40¢ orange & 80¢ rose-carmine are fine with good margins (these Cat. £2000), 1871/76 tinted paper 1¢, 2¢ (2), 4¢, 5¢ (3), thin figures for 10¢, 15¢ (2), 25¢ (3 types) vals & thick figures incl shades for 30¢ (3) & 80¢ (2) vals.
