Germany 1972-1932 used noting 1872 "small shield" (Type A) Eagles thaler currency (Cat. £800) & gulden currency 1k, 3, 7k (Cat. £260), "large shield" (Type B) Eagles thaler currency set of 7 (Cat. £400), gulden currency to 9k in both shades (Cat. £1500) & 1874 2½g & 9k, latter centred left (Cat. £830) & 1875/99 2mk shades (2 pen cancelled, 3 postmarked) plus 1899/1900 Reichspost to 3m, 1902 to 5m (26x17 perf. holes) & to 3m (25x16 perf. holes). Also 1903 & 1905 Officials before 1905/21 wmkd Germanias incl shades to 80pf with mark values incl 2m bright blue (Cat. £50), Officials 1920 & 1920/22 incl ovpts on Bavaria & Wurttemberg. Continues with 1920/21 ovpts on Bavaria to 20m, 1920 2m50 on 2m brown-purple (Cat. £325) & 1922 issues virtually complete incl "Fund for the Old & for Children" (Cat. £78) plus 1922/23 mesh wmk "Miners & Reapers" (Cat. £225), 1923 Inflation surcharges with cat. vals to £180 each, 200m Official with May 1927 ovpt type (Cat. £250), zigzag roulette 10md on 20m (Cat. £180) & 10md on 50m (Cat. £65).
