Portugal 1855-2020 MLH/used on printed leaves in 6 vols starting with 1855 5r red-brown (worn plate) "straight hair" (SG 10a, Cat. £1,900) with generous margins all round with others to 100r before 1856/58 "curly hair" to 25r incl 5 shades of 5r, 1862/64 King Luis to 100r, 1866/67 "curved labels" imperf (13) to 120r & perf (15) noting 240r pale dull lilac (Cat. £700). 1870/84 "straight labels" perf. 12½ (28) incl 300r bright mauve & 2 shades of lilac, 1000r F/U, perf 13½ with vals to 300r (15). Comprehensive "journal" & King Luis 1880/87 types incl 500r black (Cat. £425) with all perf. 11½ to 50r & most perf. 13½.
