1913 (9th Dec) 1d Red Engraved KGV First Day Cover with additional ½d & 1d kangaroo to make up the 2½d foreign letter rate tied to cover to Germany by superb SYDNEY 6.15P 9 DE 13 50 cds. Fred Hagan paper wafer on the reverse. There are fewer of these than the 1d kangaroo FDC which have sold in the past at $10,000+. One of a listed 11 known incl. one in the Royal Collection. A stunning item with a high scarcity rating in excellent cond.
