1908 (1 AUG) 1½d blue British New Guinea postcard with neat Port Moresby, Papua cds & addressed to Launceston. Accompanied by reduced photocopy of message side. The sender who signs himself as ''Reggie'' notes, ''It is a long time since we had letters, the 5 weekly boat is due Monday next....We hope the sea will be calm enough to enable our getting out to the ship.'' A lovely item in excellent cond.
